Help deliver the final push for a new maternity ward

With more than $4.2 million raised for this $5.3-million project, the foundation is looking for some very special individuals or groups to purchase the naming rights for a birthing room. Rooms can be named in honour of a loved one, in a family or company name or to reflect the commitment of a group like a golf foursome, a book club, or some caring grandparents.

Purchasing the naming rights ($150,000 per room) may be more affordable than you think. Your investment can be $5,000* or less a year for five years, for example. By supporting this project, you not only help deliver a brand new maternity ward, you help deepen the roots of health care in this community.

If you are not interested in naming a birthing room – a one-time or an annual cash donation is always much appreciated.

Help build the Integrated Centre for Health Improvement

Invest and be part of an exciting expansion of the Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program. This new Centre for Health Improvement will directly benefit people with chronic illness such as diabetes, arthritis and congestive heart failure. Its aim will be to slow the progression of chronic disease and to expedite recovery and improve outcomes after surgery. The 12,000 ft² Centre will be located at Centennial Park in White Rock and will include two new fitness rooms, two exercise studios and an education room.

The foundation, with support from community partners like the Rotary Club of White Rock, is raising funds for this $4.4-million project. We are on the home-stretch, with approximately $750,000 left to raise. Your support will help us reach the funding goal and build this much needed facility in our community.

The OH BABY appeal for a new maternity ward and the Integrated Centre for Health Improvement initiative are projects in the $32 million Partners in Caring Campaign.
